Anxiety Therapy
Your mind may feel like it is always racing, replaying conversations or bracing for what could go wrong. Even quiet moments can come with tension, overthinking, or the feeling that you cannot fully relax.
Anxiety is not a weakness. It is your nervous system working overtime. Therapy can help you understand what is underneath it and feel more grounded in the uncertainty anxiety feeds on.
Anxiety is more than occasional worry. It can be pervasive, physical, and completely exhausting — even when nothing is technically wrong
Understanding Anxiety
Generalized Anxiety
Persistent worry that can affect many areas of life, including work, health, relationships, and everyday responsibilities. Anxiety may feel difficult to shut off, even when things appear manageable from the outside.
Social Anxiety
Intense fear of judgment, embarrassment, or being negatively perceived in social or professional settings. Everyday interactions may feel overwhelming, leading to avoidance, overthinking, or constant self-monitoring.
Panic
Sudden and intense waves of fear that can feel overwhelming and physically distressing. Symptoms may include a racing heart, chest tightness, dizziness, shortness of breath, or the feeling that something terrible is about to happen.
Phobia
Intense fears connected to specific situations, objects, or experiences that feel difficult to control. These fears can lead to avoidance and significant anxiety, even when the situation is not actually dangerous.
ANXIETY IS TREATABLE —
Healing is possible, and the nervous system is capable of change. Approaches like EMDR and nervous system-focused therapies are designed to help reduce fear responses and create a greater sense of safety and regulation over time.

My Approach to Anxiety Therapy
I don't have a single-protocol approach. Anxiety can look different for each person, so treatment should be thoughtfully tailored to your experiences, needs, and goals.
Depending on what feels most supportive, therapy may include EMDR, nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, mindfulness-based CBT, or a combination of approaches to help create deeper and more lasting change.
